Sportcamp Woferlgut is set against a dramatic mountain backdrop and offers an action-packed stay for all ages. On parc, children can let off steam in the adventure playground and games room, while the whole family can enjoy the modern indoor pool complex (charges apply). For something more natural, take a swim in the parc’s private lake before unwinding in the excellent spa facilities. From mid-May onwards, there are organised sports activities and weekly barbecues, alongside the traditional Austrian Gasthof restaurant – complete with its own wine cellar.

Beyond the parc, fresh mountain air, cycling routes, waterfalls and water sports await at Lake Zell am See. Guests can also explore the wider Salzburg region thanks to a travel contribution of €0.50 per guest (aged 15+) per night, which provides unlimited public transport throughout the area. Guided walking and hiking tours are available from early May through to October.

If you’re looking to venture further, the spectacular Kaprun Glacier is close by and well worth a visit. The parc’s location also offers easy access to the local road network, making day trips simple – although this does mean some areas may experience occasional traffic noise
